Florida's Oceana joins the roster!
March 18, 2010 — Distort is excited and proud to welcome Florida's, Oceana, to the roster! The band, comprised of Brennan Taulbee (Vocals), Kolby Cridder (Bass), Denny Agosto (Drums), Jack Burns (Guitar), and Alex Schultz (Guitar), released their own flavour of post-hardcare on 2009's 'Birth.Eater'. Shortly after the release of 'Birth.Eater', the band took a hiatus and went through a shuffle in the line-up.
Now, after recently recording a handful of new compositions at Glow In The Dark Studio with Matt Goldman (Underoath, As Cities Burn, Copeland), the band is refreshed and ready to unveil their new sound - a lighter take from those tracks that fall on 'Birth.Eater', resonating similarities to early Radiohead, As Cities Burn, and Circa Survive.
